Communal & Divisive forces

Come the election time, the communal and divisive forces come to the fore! Each namesake party begins to claim the right for more seats, each community demands its due. Even those who cannot win a panchayath seat believe that a Loksabha seat is their birthright. Major parties would grant any concession to anyone in the hope of winning a vote-bank! The citizen's right to claim the bill for purchases done from a shop is turned down by the finmin. Where is all this taking us to?

The CPM leaders visiting the criminals in the jail to silence them regarding TP murder! Not the party leaders, but the paid murderers and asserting their right to do so. No objections from the police, government, Home ministry or people?

How ridiculous is the demand for protecting the human rights of the murderers of TP! As if TP had no right to live and his family members have no human rights! What should the court have done? Let free the criminals because they belonged to the CPI(M) and the party was not in the habit of murdering enemies, as MV Jayarajan said? Or because as Pinarai says, there is criminal conspiracy from the UDF to indict the CPM in murder? Or, do they mean that the inquiry should have been handed over to Kodiyeri?
